Membership Fees

When you first start, we have loaner sticks you can use within classes, and protective gear for when you start sparring. However, it is expected that once you have become a graded student, that you purchase your own kit. A basic kit will consist of a pair of rattan sticks (used for solo and most partner drills), a padded stick or rubber machete, fencing mask, and padded HEMA gloves for head and hand protection during sparring. While you can purchase sticks through the school, you will have to source hockey gloves and fencing masks yourself. We recommend our preferred suppliers below.
